If there is no light inside,
As the shadows of the night come,
What is outside can be watched.
If the inside lights up,
From out there, it could be seen
When the sunset comes.
It is snowing--
Cold, freezing cold, outside.
In the dark of the cardboards,
Looking at what is behind the windows,
At the laughter, celebration,
The gifts, the hugs,
The kisses, ...
So far and so close.
As far and as close
As the fence in front of the nose.
Are your curtains transparent or opaque?
Open or closed?
Can you see the cardboard in the snow?
Let us share with the needy, the lonely, the abandoned ones, the light, agape love,
and blessings that God gives us. Let us not wait to experience the darkness of a
deep loss, or another devastating suffering, in order to understand and have
compassion for others.
"Blessed is he who thinks of the poor: Yahweh will deliver him in time of trouble.
Yahweh will keep watch over him, and give him life; he shall be blessed upon the earth;
and You will not deliver him into the will of his enemies.
"Yahweh will sustain him while on the bed of suffering and pain; You will smooth his bed
in his sickness." --Psalm 41:1-3
"Blessed is the man who places his trust in Yahweh, and doesn't turn to the proud, nor to
those who deviate onto lies." --Psalm 40:4
